Arsenal vs Everton in the land of the free

Jesus continued where he left off last week, scoring the first goal in a
comfortable 2-0 win over Everton in Baltimore. The Brazilian set up Saka for the second goal of the game.

Jesus started the game after is brace in Germany last week,
William Saliba was also handed a place in the starting XI for the first time
since returning for Marseille. Partey was paired with Xhaka in the middle of
the park. Matt Turner started in goal in his home country and Odegaard captained
the team.

The match for fairly quiet in the opening 10 minutes, we
slowly increased the tempo, and Jesus forced Pickford to make a good low save
before Xhaka glanced a header against the post.

Matt Turner got his palms in the way of a fierce shot by
Niels Nkounkou at the near post – to chants “USA-USA” from the crowd

We took our lead just after the hour mark and it was Jesus
again. The Brazilian made no mistake as an in-swinging cross from Cedric looped
over Pickford and he was available at the far post. He took a good touch kept
his composure and fired home with his right foot.

It did not take long for us to increase our lead, as Jesus
pass fell for Saka to tuck it in at the far post. Two goals in three minutes
and we were well in control of the game at halftime.

The manager made some wholesale changes at halftime, we
continued to dictate the game but unfortunately, we did not add to the score
line.

We are off to Orlando on Sunday for the second leg of our
USA tour, we take on Orlando City on Wednesday, with a game against Chelsea on
